Mr. Kenneth Izomoh is a digital strategist, an ExO advisor, and an expert in digital transformation, leadership, exponential strategy and innovation with extensive experience in innovation architecture solutions development, business and market positioning. He is an astute entrepreneur and has more than 22 years’ experience in ICT innovation & industry. He has consulted more than 20 EU H2020 ICT development projects for Europe and Africa; and managed business developments related activities in cloud platforms for many economic sectors namely e-health, e-tourism, e-agriculture, oil-&-gas, e-energy, Environment, Circular Economy, smart mobility & insurance, enterprise solutions, e-commerce, factories of the future, and smart manufacturing under industry 4.0 enterprise initiatives. Over the years, Mr. Izomoh served in high profile ICT consulting companies helping clients to achieve exponential growth, offer advisory support to innovation hubs, senior executives, and supporting conceptualization of innovation products’ & designs, value chain optimization schemes, and innovation studies for a number of private and public clients. He also acted in the past as an event manager related to the dissemination & continental networking of stakeholders’ in view of turnkey ICT programmes and entrepreneurships related to EU and Africa joint collaborations.

Mohamed JMAIEL obtained his diploma of engineer in Computer Science from Kiel (Germany) University in 1992 and his Ph.D. from the Technical University of Berlin in 1996. He is, since 2009, full Professor in Computer Science at the National School of Engineers of Sfax (Tunisia). His current research areas include software engineering of distributed systems, formal methods in model-driven architecture, self-adaptive and pervasive systems, autonomic middleware. He conducted many research projects and published more than 300 regular and invited papers in international conferences and journals, and has co-edited six conferences proceedings and five journals special issues on these subjects. He organized and co-chaired the program committees of many international conferences, among others CRiSIS’2009, OPODIS’2010, WETICE’2013, VECOS’2016, ICTAC’2019, and ICOST’2020. He was director of the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), from 2011 to 2014. Currently, he is the general director of the Digital Research Center at the Technopark of Sfax. She received her MSc in Clinical Biochemistry at the Donetsk State University (Ukraine) in 1998, MPh in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Legon (Ghana) in 2011 and PhD in Chemical Pathology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana) in 2018. Oksana is Foundation Fellow of West African Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science. She has over 17 years of experience in the field of Laboratory Science and management. She is a member of a number of Health Policies and Guidelines Development Committees, such as National Health Laboratory Policy & Strategic Framework, Guidelines for National Integrated Specimen Referral and Transport System, National Guidelines for One-Health Specimen Collection and Handling, Laboratory Information System, Antimicrobial Resistance, Malaria Strategic Plan, Malaria Diagnostics, COVID-19 Laboratory Training Manual and National Guidelines for the Diagnostic Testing of SARS-COV-2. She involved in research in bacterial and/or viral epidemiology and transmission within the context of hospital infection control and prevention and development of biochemical markers which can be used in screening programs for disease prediction, and in the epidemiology of HSV and its synergism with other sexually transmitted viruses, vaccine development. Her publications in area of biochemical markers and infectious diseases. She also has an interest on e-health technology and artificial intelligence..

Frederic Lievens has a background in economics, management and marketing (MSc in Applied Economics from KU Leuven, Belgium). He is Project Manager at Lievens-Lanckman, a Belgium-based SME that has been active in the healthcare field and the supply of medical devices, mainly in Europe and Africa, for over five decades. He has been involved in EU projects that were working on topics such as the development of a code of practice for telehealth services (‘TeleSCoPE’), standards around ICT for active and healthy ageing (‘PROGRESSIVE’) and the uptake of open platforms in the field of active and healthy ageing (‘PlatformUptake.eu’). Most recently, he is also involved in ‘BETTEReHEALTH’, an EU-funded project with European and African partners, which aims to increase the level of international cooperation in eHealth, inform and strengthen end-user communities and policy makers in making the right decisions for the successful implementation of eHealth and which will lead to increased collaboration opportunities for stakeholders in Africa and Europe with the overall aim of better health outcomes through better healthcare accessibility and higher quality. Frederic is also Vice Executive Director of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH), the international network of digital health stakeholders, enhancing collaboration, partnership, and exchange of experience and good practice. He was responsible for the organisation and daily operations of the ISfTeH’s Med-e-Tel conference in Luxembourg between 2002 and 2017, and oversees the organization of the annual ISfTeH International Conferences (organized each year in collaboration with an ISfTeH member organization). He also served/serves on advisory and steering committees in Belgium of projects and initiatives that are dealing with technological innovation in the homecare sector (home automation, assistive technology, telecare, telehealth) as well as educational initiatives around care technology..

Mr. Samuel Quarshie, Head of IT, GHS. He is a Health IT Professional with over 20 years’ experience in the digital health workspace and a working understanding of the use of technology in the digital transformation of care delivery. He received his BSc. Administration (Accounting) (Ghana) in 1993; MSc. Information Systems Management (England (2016). Mr. Quarshie is Certified IT Security Professional with a working understanding of the security implications of using digital health systems as well as the legal and regulatory requirements to address the privacy, confidentiality of health data and experience in the use of frameworks and tools like Enterprise Architectures, IT Maturity Models etc. in assessing and defining the technology needs of health institutions. He was a Project Team Leader for the design and development of eHealth Enterprise Architecture for the Ghana Health Service (2009); championed the successful deployment of connected Tele-Laboratory initiative covering 120 district hospitals nationwide; built the technical capacity for IT Managers in charge of the first SMART hospital in the country; carried out continuous capacity building of IT Professionals and end users in the corporate organization and orchestrated the development of the NTP Data Governance Framework for the effective and efficient utilization of big data generated on Tuberculosis cases. He is a resource person for Govt IT Standards Development. He involved in research in eHealth. His publications are in area of eHealth technology and its applications in public health..

Dr. Cheluchi Onyemelukwe is an Associate Professor of Health Law and the Managing Partner of Health Ethics and Law Consulting (HELC), Nigeria’s leading health law practice specializing in health technology advisory, medical negligence and policy across social sectors. Through HELC, Dr. Cheluchi provides tech companies and health startups comprehensive legal support to help them navigate the murky waters of data protection policies, litigation and health law. Acclaimed as the first point of call by telehealth providers and digital innovators, she has provided advisory to industry leaders in health technology such as Health in A Box, Swiftecare, Cura Network, SlideSafe, and Mobihealth. For her contribution to innovation in health, she was named a Nigerian Health Hero in 2020 by Nigeria Health Watch. Dr. Cheluchi also provides consultancy services to governments and organizations such as the World Bank, African Union, ECOWAS, WHO, UNICEF, UNODC, UNFPA, Pharmaccess among others which has led to the development of key legislation and landmark policies such as The National Health Act 2014, National Health Policy, 2016, Mental Health Bill, National Policy on Elimination of Female Genital Mutilation and National Diaspora Policy and Action Plan (2019). She holds a doctorate degree in law from Dalhousie University, Canada. She has a First Class degree in law from the University of Nigeria.
